Riyadh Television Tower

صُمم برج التلفزيون من قِبل المصممين الفرنسيين باتريس وموريس نوفارينا في منطقة مباني وزارة الإعلام السعودية في مدينة الرياض في أوائل الثمانينات الميلادية يتوسط البرج مجموعة من المباني على الجوانب الغربية والشمالية والشرقية و يبلغ 170 مترًا في الارتفاع، مما جعل البرج أيقونة معمارية ترتسم على أفق المدينة في ذلك الوقت. يطل البرج على مبنى إداري يتألف من ثمانية طوابق من الجهة الغربية، ويتخلله ثلاثة أفنية خارجية. تمتاز المباني المحيطة بواجهات شبه مصمتة، مما يبرز تفاصيل البرج ومدخله المثلث الذي يتميز بكلا الرخامين الأبيض والأسود

The Riyadh Television Tower is a 170-meter-high icon that was introduced to the Riyadh's skyline in the early 1980s. The building was Designed by French architects Maurice Novarina and Patrici Novarina-Adete, the deco-revival television tower is located within the premises of the Saudi Ministry of Information. The marble-cladded monolithic triangular entrances are striped with rows of dark marble, creating a cinematic moment in the courtyard. The tower centers an array of buildings on the west, north, and east sides. West of the tower is an eight-storey office block containing three open courtyards; it follows a more minimal approach in its facade design, creating a contrasting backdrop for the tower and its polyhedron structure, which contains a restaurant.
