GOSI Housing

يقع مبنى التأمينات السكني في وسط شارع الستين بمدينة الرياض، والذي تم تصميمه ليكون جزء من مجمع متعدد الاستخدامات تابع للمؤسسة العامة للتأمينات الاجتماعية في عام ١٩٨٤م. يتكون المبنى من سبعة طوابق تمتد على الجهتين الشمالية والشرقية تندرج من الأعلى إلى الأسفل مما حافظ على خصوصية الشرفات بجميع مستويات المبنى. كما أن التقاء الممرات الخارجية مع السلالم أسهم في خلق عناصر تظلل على الباحة الخارجية التي تؤدي إلى مبنيان تجارية تتكون أيضا من سبعة طوابق. امتد تصميمه الحديث من مقر المؤسسة و الذي يتميز بتعدد طرق استخدام الخرسانة في البناء والتصميم والألواح الخرسانية التي تكسو بعض واجهات المبنى.

The GOSI housing building, situated in the midst of Sitteen Street in Riyadh, is a seven-story apartment building that lies within a mixed-use complex designed for the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI). The L-shaped residential structure steps back in an incline, allowing for multilevel private terraces for residents. Exterior walkways intertwine with stairways acting as shaded elements for outdoor courtyards, that connect to two identical 7- story commercial buildings. The 37,000 SQ development expresses the modernist versatile material that is concrete. Where it was adapted in multiple ways; including rigged panels within the facade, creating complexity and profundity within the complex.
